Your bird characters are so inspiring! Mine are more like Littlest Pet Shop style, but yours are absolutely wonderful. I hope to learn from your style and improve my own. I hope to do voiceovers for your characters when your story becomes a movie. I am already practicing!
Aww shit, I love his sad ass little Butt-head expression! and his body language adds well to his pitiful expression. Gosh I adore how you sketch feathers too, shading them is one thing but all the fluff you add just makes it wicked as hell!
At first I thought the title was 'Jim Crow' and was a bit concerned....
I love the emotion and movement of this piece - lovely character design. I, personally, don't know another artist that can give so much life and empathy to what most of the population consider very very ugly birds XD (vultures and such) I personally like them
OH SWEET~ a new chaaarrrrrr haha I love how sweet it looks in a very depressing way, it's a nice change from all the evil vultures out there C: and sweet jesus is your anatomy perfect. Oh man. Like. Like. You know everything. How does one know so much? Your brain must hurt with all that knowledge haha. haha and your style is just plain amazing man. It makes everything look 100x better
Aw so cute and innocent looking! <3 I love his pose, and the way you draw bird feet is the best! <3 I used to take care of a turkey vulture at the zoo here and I loved him, he'd be all cute and innocent like this, until this lady he liked came around then he'd be all on the fight and beat you up hahaha
There's some irony here I'm sure, in a vulture named 'crow'. I love him though, he looks a bit jittery. This species is very prominent in my area, I see them all the time. Always looking at me kinda worried as I drive by while they munch. Your artwork is very well done. I love how you left it with a bit of sketchy touch instead of cleaning it up and making it pristine. He looks like a very interesting character and I cant wait to see more of him.
I love the black vultures as well - but, there's something about the T. Vultures that's just so sweet <3 I guess it's because they are the less aggressive species.
Anywhooo, I would like to see the yellow headed vulture as well. There's actually a bird of prey show here where I live called "wings over the springs" (it's at a place called springs preserve) and they have the yellow headed vulture there. I'm still finding the time to take out to go.
