Worksheet - Resolute Characters by Dezzoi Worksheet - Resolute Characters by Dezzoi
A small and very rough/sketchy worksheet of three of my good characters (so far) from my story "Resolute"

A wolf/borzoi hybrid whom I've not figured out a name for yet...so, I just call her "Volchitsa". She's got a long way to go until her design is final. For now, I'm just messing with it. She's basically really nervous and scared for being viewed as a forbidden mixture (story takes place in the time when the royalty falls in Russia and all borzoi are killed, except the few that run into the wilds that survive (these guys) and start a mini war between themselves and their enemy: wolves) and the wolf pack she is in, hides her away from the world.

and Viktor (main character) who's sort of the lowest member in  the borzoi pack, because Dragomir (self proclaimed borzoi pack leader and main bad guy) didn't like Viktor's father (who was the royals favorite hunting dog) and Voushka (another good guy...or um..girl in this case) she's sort of Viktor's adoptive mom and best friend to Viktor's father. She takes Viktor under her wing when he was just a puppy. She's a big, strong female borzoi who is basically a bad ass, but has a soft side - like all bad asses.

I'll probably add to this with the villains, but it'll more likely end up them having their own separate sheet.

Characters to me
DO NOT USE/REPOST WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. THANK YOU.

To me, for whatever reason, I am noticing that adding curls makes a character look fancier.

Not really...a lot of the males can reach 35 easy. I know a few people with even 36" tall males.
My male is 32" and is considerably smaller then some of the males out there.

Haha I suppose I just get excited when I see bigger ones-- I've only met the 27-29" females and a couple 31" males. But then again, they're hard to come by in my area. I'm lucky if I see more than 3 at a dog show :(  A girl on the Borzoi Rule group on FB has a 36" boy who likes to tear out of his collars :giggle:
Didn't realize Vlad was only 32"! He looks so massive pictured next to the other two :)

I've been meaning to send my thanks your way-- Last weekend I met up with one of the breeders you suggested to me on tumblr all those months ago and it looks like I'll be bringing a puppy home sometime this summer! :eager:

Everytime I meet other borzoi people with Vladimir - Vladimir always dwarfs their borzoi, but apparently, all the borzoi people always comment on how small he is. It's weird...I always meet the smaller ones in real life, but I always hear about the large amount of massive ones that seem to be the norm these days. Vlad comes from Russian hunting lines though - so, he's lighter and thinner with less coat. :>

But, i'm glad to hear that you'll be getting a puppy! Has the breeder already had the puppies or will they be born soon?  Will you be getting a male or female (or does it not matter?)

The breeding will happen sometime this spring :la: I'd be happy with either a male or a female, though a huge male with a big coat would sure be impressive haha. I'm mostly concerned with the temperament of the pup, since I'll be [hopefully] training it to do some service dog tasks.
