I could gaze at this for hours..Just everything about this and you and your twin's art in general, are just..perfection at it's finest...Did you paint the rock textures yourself or use a pattern, as it's photoshop? I have a Wacom tablet too :D It's so addictive as it makes me want to just quit sketchbook-ing and pencils and just doodle my characters Vladimir and Jerold forever without any conflicts as it's much easier...Of course I'm fighting that urge as I'm trying to place my talents in the animation field. Anyway, I'd LOVE to see Resolute as a film, a 2D animated film at that as it seems much nicer and just seems to set the mood better in terms of the setting. You both have such great talents at both your stories and have created characters with depth, and you both express that feeling of emotion in your art, something of which I had never thought of or used before. And that's what art should do; make you feel emotion and make you get evolved or sucked in the picture, and that's something I don't think I have ever managed to accomplish (though I am trying).

Funny about the character of Nicolai; I've seen a few pictures of borzois that almost look like him, save for the blue eyes of course, and not enough white on the legs :) Plus my character Vladimir is also unstable, too though they're both insane on different circumstances, and the stories they belong to are totally different, same with their designs and the way they're drawn (Though I might evolve my style into a little more realistic, almost semi-realism, but still a little bit of cartoon, but in a not-too-silly-way)... It's kinda weird, right?

Oh dang, I used the word "Evolve" incorrectly the first time (or possibly both??)..

Just the smallest Bamboo Wacom tablet. I think you can buy it for $70.00 USD. But, from my experiences, really, I see no difference in different tablets. At my school we have the most expensive and biggest high end tablets and they feel NO different from my crappy at home one. We even have the Cintique tablets that you draw on the screens (around 3,000-4,000 dollars) and my work is no different. It's not what you use, it's your own talent and own hands. There are fantastic artists out there that can produce high quality work on a mouse than most people on a $400.00 tablet.
